Escambia – Five Flags ARA Meeting
The Five Flags Amateur Radio Association will have its monthly meeting on Thursday Nov 4th at the Escambia Search and Rescue building at 9530 Nimms Lane, Pensacola. Alachua-EMS Week
National EMS Week has two participating stations; N4E and VB3EMS. As for N4E, our high school Fire/EMS Academy students will be on the HF bands making contacts and passing along EMS safety tips. PSE QSX for these two stations and keep in mind that the students will be operating in "contest style" rather than general rag-chewing, as much as possible. Santa Rosa – Hands On Coax
Join us as Steve-W4SJV provides training on various coax types and we go hands on assembling coax connectors. We'll also demonstrate how to assemble PowerPole connectors. A free breakfast will be available before the meeting. Amateur radio license testing will be available immediately following the training. If testing, please bring your FCC FRN #, copy of your existing license if upgrading, your photo ID, and $10.
