Hi team,

I wanted to make sure you got word that we will be operating from the State EOC radio room on Saturday June 8 from 0900-1100 ET for a statewide communications check.  I’ll be providing more details soon on frequencies, but for sure SARNET, HF, and Winlink (KA4EOC or NNA4FL).  We’re using this as an opportunity to train our State EOC radio room volunteers but also give any counties that would like to check their communications to the State to do so at this time.  We’re encouraging folks to utilize this as a SET if they wish to as we will accept any traffic you would like to transmit and will attempt to reply to as much as possible in that time period.

Please make sure your counties that wish to participate know that all traffic must include “FOR EXERCISE” at the start and finish if they are simulating any emergency traffic.
